Google announced the launch of Gmail Motion, an advanced technology allowing users to control their Gmail accounts using their bodies and gestures. The company claims that the new technology uses the built-in web cams to detect movements and reacts in a meaningful way to these gestures, translating them into executable commands. Users are able to read and write emails only using their body movements, Google said in its official blog, adding that the service will be available to users of Google Docs soon.

Well, it is too good to be true, right? And the correct answer is ‘Yes it is’. This is just an April 1 joke by Google although the company hinted that it may be working on such an advanced technology. We’ll wait and see whether Gmail users will be able to read and write emails using body gestures, bearing in mind that similar technologies are already taking place in other software applications and hardware.
